So underdressed, I'm not wearing a hat!

I went for drinks at a shitty pub last night, I would almost go as far to say that it was chavy. Anyway this is what I wore, now I realise this is not what most people would  consider a relaxed look. But the mood took me so hence this thirties vibe! The thing is that I would go to Asda dressed like this or to work, or just the pub, whatever! The point is fuck whatever is deemed appropriate or normal for those situations if you love it wear it. Anyway it's totally casual I'm not wearing a hat! 

I love it when I look comes together!

I bloody love it when a look comes together (Forgive me for using this word) organically! And that's what happened today I knew that I wanted to wear this dress, it was raining so I put my latest favourite hat on and this kimono goes with everything! And so this seventies does thirties oriental magic happened! So exciting when it develops like that!!! This outfit makes me so happy, in fact just prints I love and colours I adore make my day that little bit more bearable and if anything will get me through the hideousness of today's working day it will be nice clothes!

I bloody love Britishness, today I went to visit Preston Manor but my favourite bit was the gorgeous walled gardens, felt right at home in my own little secret garden fantasy. Check out my gorgeous chintzy kimono which I made this week. I ended up rocking it in a kind of seventies does thirties thing, which I am very much in love with, I am currently adoring a modernised thirties vibe which my kimonos fit right in with. I love the glamour of it, the femininity, darkness and of course the whole late Art Deco vibe.

In other news look what a lovely friend gave me, this vintage pom pom making kit from the seventies I believe, amazing, look out for some interesting results haha!

A Mess.

You know those days where NOTHING looks right. One of those. Hence this freaky mixture of items haha. Look basically I have to go to work now so I'm going to embrace my cowgirl, 80's/30's pom pom hybrid. Thinking about its It's good to challenge your look, you might find a totally new combo that becomes your trademark. Or maybe even just have some fun, lets enjoy our style......... what will you wear today?

I have not worn make up for five days now, I have had an eye infection, and you know what? its been ok! But I'm really starting to miss it. Its a security blanket, a mask of confidence and prettiness and it also helps me transform my face to fit whatever look I want it too. It's been odd. Todays outfit went down a bit of a hippy thirties vibe (if that even exists)  I am actually obsessed with this robe that I made this time last week. It pretty much goes with everything. I am so excited to wear this look with a ton of dark eye make up and dark red lippy, a bit vampy. But in the mean time we all I think need to embrace how we look naturally. Everyone has something beautiful about them. Even if we cannot see it our self.
